Sorry for the horrendous lack of writing. Believe me, I would rather have been writing than doing revision and spending hours in an exam room, banging away at keys. Well, I can finally say that my GCSEs are over! And I’ve found myself in possession of a very rare thing – free time. So I can finally read, and write, and do all sorts of stuff that one needs time to do. It’s quite a strange feeling.
Luckily for me, the news is relatively the same as when I stopped writing. NATO is still bombing Gaddafi forces in Libya. The Assad regime is still shooting and arresting protesters in Syria. Nothing new appears to be happening in Tunisia or Egypt – with is both worrying and disappointing. The Greek and Euro-zone economies are hanging in the balance, with Greek protesters refusing to accept the austerity measures demanded by the Euro-zone in return for a bail-out loan. If Greece defaults – well, no one really knows what will happen.
More proper analysis soon.
